Free Futsal Tactical Board — Draw, Animate and Organise Your Exercises
The SportsLabTools Futsal Tactical Board is a free, browser-based coaching tool that lets you design and animate futsal exercises on an interactive pitch. No sign-up, no download required — all data is saved automatically on your device.
Setting Up Your Club
Start by entering your club name and uploading your badge in the header. This information is stored locally and appears on every PDF export, giving your exercise notebook a professional identity that players and staff will immediately recognise.
Creating Exercise Categories
In the Settings tab, create colour-coded categories — for example Defensive Organisation, Transition, Set Pieces or Pressing — to classify your exercise library. Each category gets a custom colour that appears as a coloured dot next to every exercise in the sidebar, and as a coloured banner on exercise cards in the exported PDF. Search and filter your category list as the library grows.
Drawing Exercises on the Interactive Pitch
In the Exercises tab, create a new exercise and start drawing on the interactive futsal pitch. The toolbar gives you every element a coach needs: players (numbered, colour-customisable), opponents (red by default, customisable), ball, base discs and cones, portable goals, straight and curved movement arrows, and text labels. Every element can be repositioned, recoloured and relabelled at any time. Choose between half field and full field per exercise — the setting is saved with each drill so your library stays consistent and visually accurate.
Creating Animated Frame Sequences
Add multiple frames to any exercise to build a step-by-step animation. Elements flow smoothly between frames, making it easy to show player rotations, pressing triggers or combination plays. Set a custom duration for each frame, then hit Play to preview the full sequence directly on screen. Export the animation as an MP4 video to share in team chats, WhatsApp groups or coaching presentations.
Exporting Images and Video
Export any individual frame as a PNG image for use in training plans, printed handouts or digital presentations. Export the full animated sequence as a video file directly from the browser — no third-party software or plugins required. Exercise Library with Smart Filters
All exercises are listed in the sidebar of the Exercises tab. Filter instantly by name (accent-insensitive search), category and difficulty level — Basic, Elementary, Intermediate or Specialisation. The sidebar shows a live count of matching exercises and scrolls independently of the drawing area so you can browse your library without losing your current exercise.
Exercise Notebook and PDF Export
The Notebook tab shows a grid preview of every exercise with its category badge, difficulty level, description excerpt and a rendered preview of the first frame. Filter by name, category and level, then export a professionally designed PDF exercise notebook — complete with your club header, per-exercise cards with coloured category banners, full descriptions and frame previews. Print it for the training room wall or share it digitally with your squad.
Importing and Exporting Your Data
Use the Export button at the bottom of the page to download a full backup of your exercises, categories and club settings. Use Import to restore or merge a backup — existing exercises are always preserved and only new entries are added, so you never lose work. Share your exercise library between devices or with other coaches on your technical staff.
Sync Data Between Tools
Each tool stores its data on your device. If you created or changed data (team name and badge) in another SportsLabTools futsal tool, press Sync data, next to Export, to bring it in here — no need to export and import files. New items are added, changed items take the most recent version and items you deleted in another tool are removed. Data that belongs only to this tool is not affected.
