How to Use the Futsal Scoreboard
This free professional futsal scoreboard runs entirely in your browser — no account or installation needed. All data is saved automatically on your device. Use it on a phone, tablet or laptop during matches, training sessions or cup competitions.
Setting Up Your Team
Enter your club name and upload your badge in the header. Then go to the Athletes tab to register every player and staff member: shirt number, name, category (athlete or staff) and an optional cropped photo. This roster is shared across all other tabs — you only build it once.
Competitions, Opponents and Games
Use the Competitions tab to create named leagues or cups for the season. In the Opponents tab, add rival clubs with their logos for reuse across matches. Then go to Games to create each match: select the opponent and competition, set the date, venue, matchday and whether you play at home or away. All game data feeds the call-up and statistics systems automatically.
Call-ups and Applying to the Scoreboard
In the Call-ups tab, pick a game and select the players and staff attending. Assign the goalkeeper, captain and vice-captain. When you switch to the Scoreboard tab, tap Apply Call-up to load the called-up squad — the opponent's name and logo are filled in automatically from the game data, and the player list becomes available for substitution tracking.
Controlling the Clock and Registering Events
Use the play, pause and reset buttons to manage the game clock. Select the current period (1st Half, 2nd Half, 1st Extra Time, 2nd Extra Time or Penalties) from the dropdown. Tap the goal (⚽), yellow card (🟡), red card (🔴) or assist buttons to log events — each opens a quick form where you pick the player from the squad list. Foul counters sit below each score: press + to add a foul and − to undo the last one. All events appear in the match timeline and can be edited or deleted at any time.
Substitutions and Player Time Tracking
During the match, use the substitution panel to swap players in and out. The scoreboard tracks playing time per player per period automatically — every time you make a substitution or change the period, the accumulated time is saved. This gives you accurate individual minutes for the full match, broken down by 1st Half, 2nd Half, 1st Extra Time and 2nd Extra Time.
Statistics Tab
The Statistics tab gives you a full post-match or cross-season view. The Player Time table shows each athlete's total playing time per period, with average, maximum and minimum per game when multiple games are selected. The Action Stats table shows goals, assists and cards per player. Use the multiselect filters to narrow down by games, players or periods. Export the full report as a PDF with one tap — it includes squad, time data and action stats in a clean layout.
Saving and Exporting
Everything saves automatically. Use Export to download a backup file and Import to restore it on any device. Export and import per individual game from the Games tab for easy sharing.
Sync Data Between Tools
Each tool stores its data on your device. If you created or changed data (players, opponents, competitions, games, call-ups and venues) in another SportsLabTools futsal tool, press Sync data, next to Export, to bring it in here — no need to export and import files. New items are added, changed items take the most recent version and items you deleted in another tool are removed. Data that belongs only to this tool is not affected.
Futsal Rules: Time and Accumulated Fouls
Under FIFA futsal rules, each half lasts 20 minutes of effective playing time — the clock stops every time the referee blows the whistle. Each team may call two timeouts per half; unused timeouts cannot carry over.
Accumulated fouls are one of the most tactical elements in futsal. From the sixth accumulated foul in a half onwards, the opposing team earns a direct free kick from the second penalty mark (10 metres from goal) with no defensive wall. The scoreboard warns automatically when a team reaches five fouls so you can adjust your defensive strategy before the threshold is crossed.
Tips for Coaches and Team Managers
- Build your roster in the Athletes tab before the season starts — every subsequent step (call-ups, substitutions, stats) pulls from it automatically.
- Always apply the call-up before the match so the opponent logo loads and the player list is ready for substitutions and time tracking.
- Change the period selector at half-time — foul counts reset and the time-tracking snapshot is saved automatically for each period.
- Register fouls in real time to anticipate the 10-metre free-kick threshold and adapt your defensive tactics before it arrives.
- Check the Statistics tab after each game to review individual playing time — useful for rotation planning and monitoring workload across the season.
- Enable Keep Screen On to prevent your device from locking during play, especially on mobile phones.
