How to Use the Football Call-up Manager

The Football Call-up Manager is a free tool to manage your squad and match call-ups directly in the browser — no account, no install. All data is stored locally on your device.

Build Your Squad

In the Agents tab, add players with name, number, category and photo. Categories include athlete, coach, assistant coach, fitness trainer, delegate, director, doctor and physiotherapist.

Register Matches and Opponents

In the Opponents tab, maintain a reusable list of clubs with crest. In the Games tab, create each match with opponent, competition, matchday, date and stadium.

How to Create a Football Team Sheet

In the Call-ups tab, select a game and call up available players. Assign Goalkeeper (GK), Captain (C) and Vice-Captain (VC) roles with one click. Add a note and export the sheet as PDF.

The Export PDF button generates a professional call-up sheet with team logos, match details, player list with roles and technical staff list.

Player Statistics

The Statistics tab shows total call-ups, attendance percentage, current streak and best streak for each player, with a bar chart and per-competition breakdown.

Sync Data Between Tools

Each tool stores its data on your device. If you created or changed data (players, opponents, competitions, games, call-ups and venues) in another SportsLabTools football tool, press Sync data, next to Export, to bring it in here — no need to export and import files. New items are added, changed items take the most recent version and items you deleted in another tool are removed. Data that belongs only to this tool is not affected.

Available Agent Categories

  • Athlete — Players with shirt number, eligible for match call-ups.
  • Coach / Assistant Coach — Technical staff included in the matchday delegation.
  • Fitness Trainer / Doctor / Physiotherapist — Technical and medical support staff.
  • Delegate / Director — Club management members present at matches.

Tips for Coaches

  • Add stadiums in Settings before creating matches so you can select them quickly.
  • Use the Goalkeeper role to identify the starter in statistics and on the PDF sheet.
  • Export statistics as PDF at the end of the season for player participation analysis by competition.
  • Import is always by merge — you can import data from another season without losing existing records.

Official Match Day Squad Rules in 11-a-Side Football

In federated 11-a-side competitions, the team sheet usually has a call-up limit (18 to 23 depending on the competition) and a maximum number of substitutions allowed during the match — most amateur competitions now follow the 5-substitution rule. It's worth flagging in advance who can act as backup goalkeeper, since having no eligible goalkeeper on the bench usually means moving an outfield player into goal if the starter gets injured.
